HANDSTAND INTENSIVE

Coming late summer 2025

Christine hosts an annual Weekend Handstand Intensive in Asheville, NC.
If you are keen to dive a bit deeper into your handstand practice in a supportive setting, considering joining for 3 days of analysis and embodiment in a small group. 

This event is capped at 10 students with the intention of offering a more personalized experience for attendees. This event is geared toward intermediate handstand students. Please review the prerequisites to assure you'll get the most from the weekend.

The idea to host this event was born from Christine’s long standing Wednesday Handstands with Moonbeam class on Zoom. This class begin at the start of the pandemic in March 2020 and has met most Wednesdays ever since. This group has gone beyond just practicing handstands and into building community together. Over time we have gotten to know one another and have co-created a space that feels encouraging and with camaraderie for our varied levels and interests. Christine wants to offer something in person for this group and beyond. It is her mission to continue building healthy culture surrounding recreational handstand training.

In the spirit of making this training accessible and maintaining a sliding scale offering pricing is as follows:
$225-$375

⚘PREREQUISITE SKILLS
10-30 second free standing hardstanding
actively working splits: middle, right, left, straddle pike
experience (not mastery) with kick up, tuck up, and straddle ups
60-90 second wall hold
experience changing shape in handstand

Friday ~ Opening Session: 4:00-7:00
Saturday ~
Session 1: 12-2 
Lunch: 2-3:30
Session 2: 3:30-5
Sunday ~
Session 1: 11:45-1:45 
Lunch: 1:45-3
Session 2: 3:00-4:30

*Please note we will NOT be on our hands the entire class. 
Each session will include warm up and pre-hab + cool down
